Donna Colombo
Donna Colombo is an energizing facilitator who blends methodical, analytical skills and an engaging presentation style with the ability to quickly assess client needs. Her broad range of professional experience with major corporations, medium and small businesses in the SF Bay Area adds diversity and richness to her work. Donna’s passion and dedication to helping clients discover the best about themselves and their organizations enable her to develop programs that deliver optimal results.
Reaching beyond the corporate environment to share ideas for living an appreciative life, Donna leads church board retreats and spirit filled workshops for women. She served as Executive Director of Diablo Valley Women in Business Foundation for four years, where she provided positive leadership through development of mentorship programs for young women.
Donna gained valuable experience in managing change while leading two dynamic professional training organizations: AT&T Professional Development Center and Catapult Software Training Centers.
Today, her focus is on facilitating Appreciative Inquiry. She brings life to the step-by-step process with an invitation to “live in the questions.” Incorporating humor, creativity and high energy she leads entire organizations toward positive change using the power of image and words to move beyond problem solving to discovery of possibilities.
An artist at heart, Donna draws on the sunflower to spark imagination. The sunflower stands tall, its face always turned toward the sun, mirroring its energy; constantly changing and growing; transforming from seed to beautiful flower to nurturing food for life.
Focus on strengths, opportunities and aspirations to achieve results.
What you value in your personal life carries over into your work.
What you bring forward from the past should be the best of the past.
Implementing change is more difficult than strategizing about change.
Change begins the moment you ask the first question – make it positive!
